Petro ware Inc., is a family owned and operated company, situated in the heart of Ohio. We have been involved in the manufacture of clay ware since 1942, using the local deposit of fire clay which is owned and mined by petroware in Crooksville Ohio, an area renowned for its ceramic products.

This natural resource contains less than 0.44 p.p.m. leachable iron, 19.2 p.p.m. leachable sulfur, and 0.01 p.p.m. leachable chlorides. Use of this high quality material combined with the state of the art production techniques, yields products that are dust free, non absorbent and extremely hard. Thorough vitrification is achieved resulting in monolithic structures that will not spall or delaminate in service.
